This the tower of Glasgow University, one of the city`s most important landmarks. The university, which dates back to 1451, has many visitor attractions including The Mackintosh House, a replica of Charles Rennie Mackintosh`s house which stood nearby; it contains many of his most famous items of furniture. The university and its museums are described in Walk 6. |
